Folks,

The Final Official Firmware Version 2.0.1 has been released. You can download this in the My Ziova Club.

Please note the following:

If you have firmware Version 1.X, you MUST do a a full RECOVERY of the firmware. After the full update is done please do a FACTORY RESET to avoid any issues. Please read all the instructions very carefully that are available on the My Ziova Club. For those that have 2.0 RC4 and above you can either do a normal upgrade or a web upgrade. Please note that we recommend all users to just do a full recovery.

The following limitations and others that may not be listed apply:

1. USB drives in NTFS format are not detected or supported (Known Issue)
2. Loading a large number of files in a folder may make the player take a long time to load and possibly stop responding
3. 5.1ch will not work over HDMI (Known Issue)
4. Navigating deep into a folder tree on a UPnP server will fail
5. Progress bar not visible while playing FLAC music files.
6. Player cannot display characters such as ä, ü, ö, é, è while browsing files.
7. Variable bit rate MP3s can make the progress bar inaccurate.
8. Subtitles stick on screen when viewing Nero Digital files.
9. Computers with multiple enabled network adaptors will be listed multiple times.
10. WPA encryption may be unstable (Known Issue)
11. Audio playback by HDMI may not work until a Video file has been played (Known Issue)
