ZIOVA Succeeds Zensonic for Major Export Push

Global home electronics pioneer Zensonic Corporation has renamed itself ZIOVA to establish a distinctive international brand for an aggressive export drive into the USA and Europe.

Along with its new corporate identity, the company will refresh its product line with new brand names and updated product designs. ZIOVA's flagship products are the Clearstream CS505 and Clearstream CS510 Network Media Players. The comparable model to the CS505 is the Zensonic Z500.

ZIOVA established itself as a global leader last year by launching the world's first Network Media Player to support HDMI (High-Definition Multimedia Interface). See more at http://www.hdmi.org. ZIOVA's Clearstream units use HDMI to connect via a single cable to a digital TV, delivering standard, enhanced, or high definition video depending on the screen's capabilities.

ZIOVA to Launch Clearstream in Europe

ZIOVA is already selling its Network Media Players in the USA and Australia. Its first Network Media Players have sold well in the USA, with units going as far afield as Canada and Mexico.

ZIOVA will next month launch its Clearstream CS505 and Clearstream CS510 units at IFA Berlin, the world's largest Consumer Electronics trade fair, which runs from September 1-6. ZIOVA will also launch its Flexstream HDMI cables. Last year, the week-long show drew 245,000 visitors with 1200 exhibitors from 40 countries. ZIOVA will use IFA Berlin to recruit resellers in the UK, Germany and other European countries.

Exports Align Behind the ZIOVA Brand

ZIOVA General Manager Greg Birch said the new ZIOVA brand was chosen to establish a unique identity that could be trademarked in all major territories. "ZIOVA is the brand we intend to line up all our resources behind for this export drive," he said.

"ZIOVA's Clearstream Network Media Player is a ground-breaking product that has obvious international appeal. We have trademarked ZIOVA in Australia, the US and Europe to ensure that we can invest in building this brand without any distractions."

ZIOVA has also established a subsidiary ZIOVA USA Inc. to distribute ZIOVA products in the USA.

ZIOVA Home Entertainment Product Range

ZIOVA's home theatre product range includes Clearstream Network Media Players and Flexstream cables. ZIOVA's Network Media Players are among the most advanced Media Players available globally. The Clearstream CS505 includes an integrated DVD loader while the Clearstream CS510 plays streamed digital media.
